The Lansdowne Club Business Achievement Awards were launched in 1998 to recognise and reward the accomplishments of a Company or Individual who excel in their chosen field or industry. The creation of the Awards was an important milestone in the evolution of the Club, allowing us to celebrate the significant contribution to business, the arts and community services that our members make and allow the Lansdowne Club to recognise (and reward) members of the Club.
The Achievement Awards have been presented in 1998, 2001 and 2005. An additional Young Business Achievement Award was introduced in 2005.

We seek the commercial acumen of some of Australia’s leading business professionals to choose the winners in each category. The Board of the Lansdowne Club and the Awards Committee are not involved in the selection process of the winners and the decision of our Judging Panel is final. We are indebted to the Judging Panel for their help, professionalism and the integrity they bring to the selection process for the Business Awards.
The inaugural Lansdowne Club Business and Individual Achievement Awards were presented in 1998 by Her Excellency Mary McAleese President of Ireland.
