Since its first edition in 1987, the Directory has grown to become the definitive reference for Irish Business Contacts in Australasia listing contacts throughout the Asia Pacific region. The Directory includes listings from Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, The Phillipines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

It's a great feeling to be able to look through the pages of this very popular Directory and find more than a thousand friends, colleagues and fellow members of the Lansdownce Club across Australia, Ireland and the Asia Pacidic Region.
This directory is the second Internet based edition of the Directory, following 7 printed editions over the last 14 years. Our first edition was published just a year after our Club was initailly formed to provide Irish born Australians with a wonderful opportunity to establish contact amongst fellow members, or to simply stay in touch. Today, with endorsement and distribution from bodies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs, it is not only a great way for our members to work together, but also an important catalyst in facilitating bilateral trade between Ireland, Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.
A look through this Directory shows what breadth and diversity of talent exists among Lansdowne Club members and we are very proud of the many successful partnerships it has helped to establish over the years.
Of course, the Lansdowne Club Directory of Irish Business Contacts in Australasia is just one of the ways the Club brings people together. Our events such as the annual St Patrick's Day lunch, biannual Business Awards, annual Golf Classic Day, Special Functions and our website all serve the same purpose in helping us all stay in touch in the true spirit of mateship. All of this would not be possible without the hardwork, enthusiasm and dedication of our Directors and we take this opportunity to thank them, together with our many sponsors, for making it all possible.
The Lansdowne Club and this Directory are valuable tools in keeping the spirit of friendship and co-operation alive amongst all who cherish their Irish heritage. The Directory is pivotal to the Club’s success and we are delighted that it continues to be endorsed and supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland.
