In November 2008 we were delighted to be part of the establishment of a Lansdowne Club in Queensland. Alistair Lindsay, Queensland Manager for Singapore Airlines was at the helm at the time. Brian Lorigan has now taken over and we look forward to the club growing in Queensland. Alistair was heavily involved in the Lansdowne Club in Sydney for a number of years when he was posted there so he is well positioned to lead the Club.
The inaugural dinner of the Club was held at the Polo Club in Brisbane and was attended by Ambassador Ó Fainín and Peter Brennan the current Chairman of the Lansdowne Club in Sydney.
