Last November we were delighted to be part of the establishment of a Lansdowne Club in Queensland. With Alistair Lindsay, Queensland Manager for Singapore Airlines at the helm we look forward to the club growing in Queensland. Alistair was heavily involved in the Lansdowne Club in Sydney for a number of years when he was posted there so he is well positioned to lead the Club.
The inaugural dinner of the Club was held at the Polo Club in Brisbane and was attended by Ambassador Ó Fainín and Peter Brennan the current Chairman of the Lansdowne Club in Sydney.

Upcoming Event: St Patrick’s Day lunch, Tuesday 17th March 2009 (Brisbane)
The St. Patrick’s Day lunch is the highlight of the Club’s calendar in Queensland, and this year we will be celebrating in style at the Gabba, in the comfort of the Wisden Room of the Queensland Cricketers’ Club.
When: 12 noon, Tuesday 17th March 2009 (St. Patrick’s Day)
Where: Queensland Cricketers Club, The Gabba, 411 Vulture Street, East Brisbane
Cost: $55.00 includes 2 course lunch
